Driving to college.

HI!

I’m so sorry that I haven’t updated my blog in a while. Life has been pretty busy, assignments, performance, tests, quizzes and whatnot. Finals are in two weeks and at this rate, sleep is not an option if the paper is tomorrow! I love you all enough so I'm just going to spare the boring details about how I'm hungry, sleepy, and how life generally just sucks for me nowadays.

However I will tell you that last Friday, I drove to college by myself!(Which is still a boring stuff to read about) Yes I'm in my third semester and last week was my first time driving to college. Usually I will take the train. Okay I admit I got lost, but I managed to find my way eventually and arrived safely in one piece, with all parts of the car still intact and functioning. It took almost one hour(it wasn't even jammed). Honestly I prefer going by train, at least I can sleep! That's what I always say to people anyway. And there were hardly any empty parking spots around and I had to park quite far.. so yeah the experience was.. not that bad, really. There were so, so many GINORMOUS lorries around! Not to mention there were people who, apparently will break their hands or something if they give signals to turn right/left. Seriously. SERIOUSLY. How hard could it be!? Do you need to pay five bucks for every signal? No. Will you lose any parts of the body to give signal? No. Will the chances of accidents happening increase tremendously if you do NOT give signal? YES.

And then yesterday(Monday) I also drove to college. And on the way back, something happened. DUN DUN DUNNN. A group of unicorns were passing the road and then I accidentally hit one of them and unicorn blood was everywhere and so I took a sample to know how it tastes like but Voldemort came and I wanted to Avada Kedavra him but I realized he has a nose so I thought it must be an imposter

I was driving on a two-lane road and I was on the left lane. There was a huge lorry, going very slow in front of me so I decided to switch lane. I was VERY sure there was an ample empty space for me to go in and so I gave the right signal and moved. And then out of sudden, the car behind me honked. I was like DUDE, what the hell? I gave the signal, there was a lot of space, your car wasn't damaged! Whatever I just ignored it and kept on driving. And then after a few meters ahead, I decided to change back to the left lane, as the road was.. hilly and my car couldn't go very fast. That's when The Car That Honked At Me, drove by, and THE SUPER UGLY AND HITLER LOOK-A-LIKE UNCLE SITTING ON THE PASSENGER SEAT, TURNED HIS HEAD AROUND, AND ACTUALLY STARED AT ME WITH HIS EYES STERNED AND TIGHT-LIPPED. As if he wanted to slap me right there and then.

What the actual fc*k?! APA PANDANG-PANDANG? Hek eleh kecoh betul la pak cik ni! Bukannya aku langgar dia pun!

Think I'm scared of you!? _|_

I once read somewhere that 'you never really learn to swear until you learn to drive' which I found very true. I'm that kind of person who practices euphemism and replaces the F-word with 'fish' or 'fudge' and shit with 'shoot'. Because I think if you use them all the time, when you are REALLY pissed about something and say the F-word, it will feel normal. You won't get the 'satisfaction' to release your anger. So I like to 'reserve' it for special occasions.

Like in the above situation.

But it was also one of my mottos not to let idiots, (are in this case unnecessarily rude people) ruin my day so I continue to sing along to Taylor Swift songs and move on.

I'm writing this in college and I feel weird because people are staring so I'll just end it here.

And at the end of this painfully long-winded blog post, I shall now leave a quote to make me appear ~*~*deep*~*~ and wise as opposed to boring and uncool:

"There are four questions of value in life... What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is same. Only love."
— Johnny Depp, as Don Juan in Don Juan DeMarco (1994).

ps; I promise there'll be some pictures in the next post!

Sounds scary :L I'm glad I've still got three years to go before I learn to drive . . .

I love Jodi Picoult :) I've read nine of her books :D (and I've got three different variations of her book covers too, but they're pretty similar, the title and shizz is just in a different place).

ps. I loved your mini-rant.
