this time, next year.

i didn't go to school today.

i realized this year would be the last year my parents would come to my school and get my report card.

this time, next year, i won't be wearing school uniform and laughing at an hao's jokes, getting sleepy in bio class, conduct cool chemistry experiments, doing ujian SEGAK, gossiping with abu,mus & alin long after recess, and hearing choon kit said 'stand up,class!' anymore.

i realized i 'celebrated' my one year anniversary at smk ideal heights, but there won't be a second anniversary.

i was naive to think my best friends would be as excited as i am to get together and catch up with each other.

When SPM is still 5 months away, you haven't seen your best friends for ages, spending two hours with them won't effect your SPM result.

i forgot it's me who said 'i'll be there for you' to her, not the other way around.

i learned if you miss someone, and they don't miss you back as much, it hurts.

when your best friend had a crush on someone she thought was nice but turns out to be a jerk, you said 'you deserve better and he's an ass for doing this to you' instead of 'i knew from the start he's a player and how the heck could you have a crush on him??'

when something good happened to you and you think of someone you immediately want to share the news with, that someone means a lot to you but you didn't even realize it.

i don't open up to people and i don't expect you to do the same. but if you do, i'll listen. then maybe i'll open up to you too. or maybe i won't.
