fish out of the freezer.

Taylor Swift : "The best thing you can do in school is to not try to be too cool. My friends and I took pride in the fact that we were the weirdest girls at our school. We never fit in with the cool girls because we didn’t really care what people thought. We has so much fun goofing off and being being crazy. We would go out to dinner in our prom dress, accessorized with scarves, fingerless gloves and costume jewelry. Sometimes we’d draw a beauty mark on our faces, wear a tiara and funny slippers. We didn’t care!"

well said.

take it from someone who's hugely successful like taylor swift! her latest album sold more than 2.4 million, #1 on the billboard chart for more than 11 weeks! IN YOUR FACE, joe jonas! =p the jonas brothers didn't even come close! click here if you want to read about it on perezhilton.com.

who would've thought a beautiful girl like her is one of the 'weirdest girl' at school??

i admit i've tried to be cool. heck, every teenager is trying hard to be cool. trying to fit in. why? i dont even know. to be accepted i guess. so girls would wear the trendiest, hippest clothes..guys would have the latest gadget.. just to be the envy of others. luckily schools in malaysia dont have the queen bee like 'the plastics' in mean girls. that would've sucked. (my school anyway. i dont know about other school)

oh and i actually did ask my penpal from US and she said they(the bitchy queen bee and her sidekicks thingy) do exists. guess they're not exaggerating in the movies/tv. ",

as much as the school tried to do the perpaduan or integrasi thingy, it just won't work. (i love saying 'thingy'. haha) we have our own cliques. it's so OBVIOUS. malay with malay, chinese with chinese, etc. but in our class luckily we're a bit integrasi-er than other classes.i dont think i fit in anywhere though in my class. i mean, of course people would thought i fit in with the malay girls in my class(which is only 5 btw including me) but i dont think i do. they love to talk so much and i dont even have anything interesting to say. that's why people would think i'm so quiet. pendiam. or even say i'm sombong(i'm SO not). i.just.dont.have.anything.interesting.to.say. period.

i do love talking about books..movies..tv..which my so-called-clique didnt even know a thing. when i bring a novel, it's so ...ugh.

sigh. that's why i miss talking with my best friend. oh fiqa, gbob! my life would suck without you. ;) ;)

note to self : gotta find a guy who shares my interest in books. who'll bring me to bookstores whenever i want and never complain. =D
note to future boyfriend : i know how some guys hate waiting for their girlfriend trying on shoes@clothes, so i'd never ask you to accompany me to go shopping, just accompany me to MPH(and IKEA) would do. =D

sometimes i wonder what would happen, who will i be if i'm a high school student in US. i think i'm going to be either the geek, who brings book all the time (i do bring book everywhere i go) or i can be one of the mean girls too. i think i seriously have a split personality. bitchy on the inside(deeeep inside) and good girl on the outside. looks can be deceiving. ;)

you know, my father did get a job offer in UK, a long long time ago. but he didnt take it because my mom wanted to stay in malaysia. seriously, i went lunatic when i found out about it. WHAT?? you mean i actually get to play with snow? i'll be hella fluent in english and speak in british accent(which i love)?? i get to have an english boyfriend? lol.

instead, i'm stuck here in malaysia secondary school. which sucks. gahhh can't wait for spm to be over.

ps; why do we have to use 'secondary school' ? can't use high school ?? ideal heights high school. lagi cun maa! xD

fish out of water = out of place
fish out of the freezer = uh, fit in but not in the right group. like me. =) didn't make any sense, i know. life makes no sense anyway. *wink*
