bookaholic, earth hour.

my english is getting from worse to way worse. x_x
i'm not 'easy-to-get-jealous-person', but i always get jealous to anyone who can write well. i love writing and i think that's what i do best. ok not best, but i'm pretty good at it. i think i'll never be good at physics, or bio. or even bm. xp i think i've loved english since i was in standard 5..the teacher(which is my friend's mom) was really good and since then, i was hooked.

oh i remember the first english novel that i read : DATING GAME by DANIELLE STEEL
and the book was kinda good. though i dont think it suits my age at all. i think maybe my mom or my aunt who would read this kind of book. it was about a woman who just got divorced from her perfect marriage, 24 years of marriage in fact. then her husband falls in love with another woman he met at work(cliche). but i tell ya, i cried when i read the FIRST CHAPTER of the book! now that's something. i rarely cry when i read, it takes a lot for me to reach out for my kleenex when i'm reading..so it's pretty something to even cry reading the first chapter.

or maybe i was overreacted,'terlebih feeling' when i read it. =P

see what i mean? how good writer,story-teller just know how to play with the readers' emotions? i'd love to do that. i want to write something that makes people cry, laugh, think, angry at certain character, root for certain character. unfortunately i dont think i've reach that level yet. but one day i will. =)

the one book that makes me cry the hardest was... FOR ONE MORE DAY by MITCH ALBOM. there's a movie adaptation of that book, but i dont recommend anyone to watch it. it sucks. it didnt do justice to a wonderful book. the book is just . .. haih just pick it up and read la. like i've said before, i suck at explaining things. i've read another book by mitch albom, THE FIVE PEOPLE YOU MEET IN HEAVEN. and i love it as much. it's totally a page-turner, you always want to know what will happen next. and the similarities between these two books were something unexpected at the ending. and the way the author delivers it, it felt as if he's reading it to me. that sounds corny isn't it? =p i dont know how to explain it, but he made me think. the writing style is simple yet the meaning is so deep.there's a lot of quotes that i like in the book.

i've borrowed another book by mitch albom, TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE and my dad said it's a great book. but i can't read two books at once, so gotta finish the devil wears prada first. i dont know about anyone else but i can't read when there's music in the background. so i always have to switch off my radio first, then read. most of the time, followed by sleep. =D not because the book is boring, but i always read before i go to sleep.. =) it's kinda became a routine now. even when there's exam, i'll still read my novel.

i gotta have my own room now! before this i shared a room with my sis. i dont really mind sharing a room, but she always want to switch off the light early. i still want to read my novel! so now after months of renovation, i have my own room. yay me! my room is a bit smaller than my last room, but it's ok. my room's theme is black,gray and red. originally wanted black, white, red but white is too common. (blackwhitered coz it's the colour of the twilight saga books' cover :D :D)

so i have my own book shelves now..(used to share it with my sis). gotta move my books to my own room. so here are my books!

i thought i have quite a lot of books, but after i've arranged it on the book shelves i think i dont have that many books... but hey i'm still grateful. wish i could have more.

twilight box set have it's own shelf. xD

i bought english novels only these days.. i gave up reading malay novels since i was 12. i only read the one for komsas.. i haven't even finished Bukit Kepong. i've read only first chapter of the book. :D i dont think i've finished Panas Salju(F3) either.
some books i bought at warehouse book sale. cost only rm8/10 each if you buy it there. but the warehouse sale is only 3@4 times a year.

i buy magazines too. i used to buy HOT magazine every month, but my mom banned me from buying it because she saw this one picture of paula abdul(i think) with her boobs about to fall out. =p

so i've switched to SEVENTEEN and occasionally CLEO.

only some of it because i brought it downstairs and some are missing. :D

oh and also recently i bought this magazine ONLY because robert pattinson and kristen stewart is on the cover. i think that's the only cover where robert actually looked handsome, most of the time he looks like he didn't bath for a week. hahah

yeah in case you haven't seen this mag anywhere, it's an australian magazine. turns out this magazine is actually really good ! it's kinda same with seventeen, but better. lots of useful tips and funny stories. it costs rm17.90 though. gulp. i didn't pay for it of course. i asked my mom can i buy this magazine, then she said ok. maybe she thought it was seventeen because after that she said why my magazine is so expensive?? heh sorry mom.

EARTH HOUR.
i watched KLCC turns off it's light! i was in KL that day so i watched pretty up close. on the way home i can't see where KLCC and menara KL was! it's dark. but sadly lots of shops and buildings didnt turn off its' light. blame them if the world is getting hotter. always complaining about how hot it is, but can't even turn off your light for one hour ah?
