Haven't updated my blog in a while. But I'll just make this a quick one.
I started my third semester(already!?) and this semester I'm taking
FRE101 - French for Beginners
I have zero knowledge about French except bonjour and je t'aime. It was really confusing! ._. But at least it's not a subject I have to read up a lot(like history) and I can just Google everything. My lecturer is a Chinese woman who is 70 years old! But I swear she looks, 50. Or maybe 55. She told us her life story and how she studied in England and then got a scholarship in France blah blah blah. She also has worked as an interpreter(sounds interesting, I might want to check that out later) and traveled the world.
I think if there's one thing I'm good at, it's getting the pronunciation correctly, very fast. Haha.
And in the first lesson she said, 'after you've learned some basic words, you can start writing poems in French' and then we were all like

ANT101 - Cultural Anthropology
This is quite a huge class, with 45 students.
REL200 - World Religions
Both of the classes start at 8am! Urgh hate waking up so early. And it's so freaking cold in the morning when I come out of the shower I was freezing, shaking, shivering as if it's winter in Malaysia. I'm not kidding.
Anyway the lecturer was really good, but my classmates aren't the talkative kind so whenever he asked a simple question(like why do you study?) it was as if someone just asked how old was Einstein's mother when she gave birth to him. LULZ.
It was all very ~*~*deep*~*~ stuff like how do we know God exists and everything and I think Have A Little Faith by Mitch Albom already has the answer. Bahaha.
MUS105 - Music Appreciation
I tried to learn keyboard, which I failed miserably. There is NO ONE in my family that has a music bone in their body. Seriously. We started learning some tempo, beats, rhythm and all that thing and I couldn't really understand it.. uhm. We'll see how this one goes.
OH, NOT TO MENTION. I have to(repeat : have to) go to a concert and that counts 10% of the whole marks. WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT POINT.
I entered this contest by MTV Asia to see Taylor Swift live in Singapore. If you've been reading my blog long enough you'll know just how much I luuurrve her. To win, I need to submit an essay/picture/video(I chose essay, it was about the same as my public speaking speech with the cheesiness turned up) and then I need votes.
SO PLEASE, I'M BEGGING YOU,
TO CLICK THIS LINK TO VOTE FOR ME.
It will literally take less than 5 seconds. One click, THAT'S ALL. No registration, it's not Facebook likes, no email, nothing. Just click, and you're done.
I'll really appreciate if you could post the link on your Facebook status(like my good friend Satpal did, thank you) to vote for me. To make it more interesting don't la say 'click to vote', say something like 'OMG THIS IS AMAZING! CHECK IT OUT!' or 'I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!' Hahaha. Just anything you can think of that'll make people click it. I've shortened the link if you want to copy to your status/tweet : http://3.ly/6qs3/
Contest ends this Sunday so hurry! You can vote once a day.
PLEASE MAKE MY DREAM COMES TRUE? :)
Thank you.
