Addicted [2009 Edition].

it's my 100th post!
WOOOHOO ;)

ahh, 2010 is almost here.

because this year is one of the most important year of my life, I didn't manage to read that many books :(
I usually read before I go to sleep, after my brain is tired of studying. Haha. Not that I study a lot though. XD

but anyway, here it goes ;
(links will open in new window so you don't have to worry about not finding my blog later! haha)

BOOKS I'VE READ IN 2009.

1- The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom
Comment : Mitch Albom is just amazing, awesome, and other words that is synonymous with incredible, fits in the description. Definitely a must read for all.

2- The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger
Comment : I watched the movie first, then I read the book. Honestly, I didn't like it very much. It goes on and on about Andrea's work and what she did for Miranda. If you're fashion lover, you might be interested.

6- My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Comment : The first novel I read by Jodi Picoult. And I must say I really LOVE it. She developed the characters very well. She wrote it from different perspectives and made me understand why she/he did this and that. And I *cough* cried.

7- A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks
Comment : Since lots of people said this book is very, very sad, I didn't even bring this book anywhere I go because I'm afraid I might just broke down in public. HAHA. BUT, guess what? I didn't shed a tear. It's just, too cliche. Please don't hate me.

8- In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner
Comment : Saw the movie long before I read the book. It's quite thick and hrm, I like it. Not love. But having a sister, I can definitely relate to the character sometimes.

9- How To Be Lost by Amanda Eyre Ward

11- The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants
12- The Second Summer Of The Sisterhood
13- The Third Summer Of The Sisterhood
14- The Forth Summer Of The Sisterhood
Comment : If last year I read the Twilight Saga, this year I read The Sisterhood Series. And it's AWESOME. I love how the author didn't make the characters perfect, or even close to perfect. The four main characters, each have their own flaws and me, as the teenagers can definitely relate to each characters very well. This series deals with real issues and I laughed, I cried. If you're a teenager, JUST GO READ IT ALREADY!

15 - Love The One You're With by Emily Griffin
Comment : I read her previous books and I love it. So I bought this book. Hrm, the book is kinda slow, and the ending is not really predictable, but it's just okay for me.

#Yellow arrow indicating my favorite books, and recommend it to all! ;D

-----------------------

overall i've read 5382 pages of books this year! Compared to 7000+ last year. oh well.

I feel so, Simon Cowell. HAHA.
That's my personal comments. Some book everybody might think it's stunning, but I don't. Some book everybody might think it's rubbish, but I think it's fabulous. haha.
It depends and different for everybody, no?

still, I have a lot of books to read!
and I want to say thank you so much to MY MOM and MY DAD for paying for these books! haha.

♥♥♥♥♥♥

I know some people say I should read more 'serious' books, rather than chick lit. Well the way I see it, if you're a teenager, read teenage books. Because when you're an adult, you can't pick up these books again. It'd be weird. So I'm sticking to read books categorized under chick lit/teenage, thank you.

any questions or comments are welcome!

"its not just other people we need to forgive, Mitch. we also need to forgive ourselves. for all the things we didnt do. all the things we should've done. you can't get stuck on the regrets of what should have happened.
Morrie Schwartz - Tuesdays With Morrie.

one of my favorite quotes ever.
