honestly, i think that advice is one of the hardest advice you can give to someone. well at least to me.
it's not like i have an alter ego, hard to choose who i want to be. but like, i'm different when i'm with different people.

ask my family and my classmates to describe me and compare. someone would probably say, 'we're talking about the same Anis right?'

okay not that dramatic.
but you get what i mean.

i've never pretended to be someone else. i just don't know how to.

how can you be yourself when you're with your boyfriend/girlfriend? see, when you're with your bf/gf you're being the best version of yourself. you hide your flaws. most people lie to themselves. and i think that's what ended a relationship. when you realize he/she is not what you think he/she is.
[geez look who's talking. i've never even been a 'real' relationship. lawl]

that's why i dont want to have a boyfriend. it's just too much hardwork. sure the feeling of being LOVED is nice and everything, but urgh if i love you, i will hurt you. that's not a guarantee, but more like a warning. heck, you probably will hurt me too.

plus, these days most people say 'i love you' like 'i'm hungry' or something. it's too cheap.

i'm NOT anti-commitment or something, but now i just dont see the point of it ? yeah i'm not that girl who'll fall for your sweet words and sms you 24/7, waiting for your call. i'm not clingy.

wait, i think i'm drifting far off from the main topic here. haha.

so anyway, i hate it when someone say 'be yourself'. it's just too subjective?
so like in an interview, when you're nervous or anything, people would usually say 'just be yourself.' scratch that. i'd say to someone 'be the best version of yourself'. ;)
