FROG DISSECTION.
this blog post is a bit ewww to some. so it's up to you to read it or not. but you'd miss out on lots of things if you don't :)
this is a must-read.
and it's kinda long, so that's why i'm using this collapse thing again.

it's funny at first, but it gets sad in the end :(

7.00 p.m.

went to this seafood restaurant ? to buy a frog. i won't lie it's so disgusting. the frogs are HUGE. it's RM 28 per kilo. when the shop owner took it out, i nearly ran out of the shop. and the shop is full of fishes, octopuses, lobster etc. i feel like something may jump out of the aquarium and bite me. everything in that shop is HUGE.

luckily Akmal was there too, bumped into him at the shop. he was buying for him, Chanchai, Aqil, Lakshman too. since i'm too disgusted to bring it home, and mom already warned me to put it straight into the car bonnet since she won't look at it.

i took the smallest, which is RM 5.

it was so funny in the class.
An Hao's frog jumped out of the plastic bag and everyone screamed and ran for their life. LOL. and An Hao took it with his bare hand and put it back into the plastic bag. urrggghhh. x_x

and our teacher, Pn Saadiah was SO FREAKED OUT by the frogs xD

i remember Yen Lin's frog is so HUGEE.

i was still scared to hold it ;p

first, our Biology teacher, Pn Zubaidah asked us to put all of our frogs in this one big, black plastic bag.

everybody now, EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.


then she put the chloroform. to, 'stretch the frog' and make it , faint. i think. ;p

and then what'dya now, the boys shook the plastic bag too vigorously, THE PLASTIC BROKEEEE!

ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE.

the girls, (ahem including me) RAN AND SCREAM. what do you expect?! the FROGS are all on the ground and jumped all over the place! ZOMG that was HIGHLARIOUS.
the boys all caught it, except SOME BOYS who also ran. -.-"

i didn't manage to get it on tape! grr that'd be EPIC.

so they put the frogs in a new plastic bag and pour the chloroform again. so anyway like you guessed, all the frogs are mixed up. so i don't know which one is Juju Jonye :(

but Akmal picked one for me and i just took it from him. the frogs are not moving anymore and all stretched out already. ready to be dissected.

kisskiss. i was scared to hold it at first, but heck i'm going to dissect it later. at that moment i felt sad that i have to kill it in the end :(

lay it down.

pin it. it was a heartbreaking thing to do. seriously.

slice open the skin. frogs have the coolest skin ever. they can breathe throught their skin remember?

frogs have six pack abs. frogs are hot.

i asked Mus to record while i'm dissecting. maybe if i have the time i'll upload it on youtube. ;p but prolly not.

so after much dissecting,




i looked closely at the frog's heart. it's not beating. sigh. guess i failed.
Mus and I declared the time of death; 11.40 a.m.
:( :(
tsk tsk.

i walked around to see everyone's frog.
and teacher put this diagram on the board for us to learn the organs and everything.
so i know which one is the liver, intestine, pancreas, lung, heart everything.

teacher said to look at Lakshman's frog because he dissected very well. the heart beats really fast and the lung was hugee. it was damn cool to look!

again, Mus recorded this too.

he even took out the frog's heart, put it on my palm, and it's still beating. officially the coolest thing i've ever seen.

so after that i looked at Juju Jonye, again with hope it's heart will beat.
it's not.
beat for me, please?

then, by some miracle, just after we took this picture,




THE HEART BEATS!

OMG only god knows how happy i was at that time. last time i felt that way was probably when i met Boys Like Girls. ahahahahaha. i mean, the happiness.
i was jumping up and down with Mus and screaming with delight.
I DID IT! woooooohoooo. i managed to 'resurrect' Juju Jonye!

i recorded this. the heart beats. this, i might post. haha. and oh by this time, my camera's memory card was really full already. i had to delete pictures i took from the DavidArchuleta's showcase to record it. ;p

teacher already asked us to clean up everything. but i was too excited about Juju's heart beating. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh i was so happy.

then, come the sad part. :(
life's like that. you can't be happy all the time.

because you can't just throw it with the heart still beating. that'd be cruel.
so i took the scalpel, and . . .

time of death ; 12.10 p.m.




no i didn't just throw it away in the dustbin, wrapped in newspaper. teacher said Seng will bury it near his house. so i said to Seng to take care of it :(

the newspaper can wrap 2@3 frogs together, but i don't want Juju Jonye to be wrapped with other frogs!

i was so sad at that time i feel like i could cry. it's NOT funny okay.
maybe it was a wrong decision to name the frog. because then you'd feel attached to it. :(
if this is Grey's Anatomy, i'd be Izzie. because you know, sometimes she gets emotionally attached to the patients.

i've been delaying my 1000th tweet, to make it special. i want that tweet to be special. so i use my 1000th tweet to tweet about Juju Jonye.

i'm not lying.
i feel like my pet-i've-taken-care-of-since-i-was-5-years-old died.

a total of 24 frogs died today.
