Always.

Of course after I blogged about Harry Potter I'm going to write another post about me WATCHING Harry Potter! Hur hur.

14 July 2011, 3:10 p.m., Berjaya Times Square.

No this post doesn't contain any spoiler for the movie.
On a sidenote, I just want to say that you can be someone who has read all the books(like me) and still don't want to see any spoilers before watching the movie(like me). I hate how some people are like 'it's all already in the book!' Of course you know what's gonna happen but that doesn't mean you want to know exactly how it was depicted in the movie. Sheesh.

Anyway I bought these awesome t-shirts online and it arrived two days before the day I'm going to watch the movie! Phew just in time.

And these would be me shamelessly taking pictures with.. cardboard cutout of the characters.

And the red/yellow(more like gold-ish) were supposed to represent Gryffindor! I just feel the need to emphasize that because nobody gets it lulz.

LOLOLOL me and my sister (who's not a fan of the Harry Potter series at all -_-)
We kept taking pictures and they turned out VERY DARK and we kept laughing. People behind us probably thought 'poor girls, first time watching a 3D movie.'

We watched it at GSC MAXX, which is like the biggest cinema in Malaysia or something. I think the trailers they showed before the movie had a better 3D effect than the movie itself though.

There were a lot of people watching in the same theater/hall as me but no one dressed up or anything! PSSSHHHH. I see on some websites or people who posted it on twitter some even dressed up as Hedwig, Hagrid, and even the Sorting Hat!! HOW AWESOME. Maybe I should've gone to the midnight premiere because those are the.. I guess you can say the hardcore Potterheads. Though I highly doubt a lot did (dress up) anyway.

The audience.

Not only no one 'dressed to the occasion' (it's the last Harry Potter movie for God's sake), they were just.. dead. (Except my friend who was in the audience too. Hi, Hema!)

***spoiler if you didn't read the books***

No one clapped when Mrs. Weasley killed Bellatrix.

No one cheered when the much-anticipated 'Romione' kiss.

****

No one clapped/cried after the movie ends.

JUST. DEAD.

I mean they did laugh at some funny parts, and it was pin-drop silence during the sad scenes so 'the Prince's Tale' scene wasn't ruined. My cheeks were wet with tears and it was so quiet, so I don't want to take out tissues because it'll be too obvious so I used my cardigan's sleeves and it's already wet. Luckily I watched it in 3D so can't see the tears streaming down my face and snot dripping out my nose and all. And it gets quiet (the movie and the audience) for so long so I couldn't take a deep breathe with my nose all stuffy so I waited for the battle scenes where it's loud and nobody can hear me.

That was too much information and you're probably all grossed out. Sorry.

I tell you the award for Best Audience for a movie so far will always be when I watch Insidious. People were legit scared and screaming and flipped out like shit. You know sometimes the audience can make or break the movie. Even a bad movie, if you watch it with the right audience can be entertaining.

The movie.

As for the movie itself, I had to admit it was a little bit under my expectation and a little bit draggy, just because I was like WHERE IS SNAPE I JUST WANT TO SEE HIM BE ON THE SCREEN THIS INSTANT.

But when he's on-screen.. he's just FLAWLESS. Okay Johnny Depp will always be my #1 favorite actor of all-time (he's one of the things that define my childhood!.. and adolescent) but Alan Rickman will be high on the list too. And imagine my level of fangirling - an all-time high, when the two were in the same movie, Sweeney Todd. (And also Alice in Wonderland but Alan just provided the voice).

This would be where I'm going to rant about how perfect Alan Rickman is.

Nobody could've played Severus Snape better than he did. And I hope no one would ever make a remake of the movies because NO one could do justice to the characters. And the thing about Alan is he hardly moved a muscle on his face but it just showed on his eyes and his freaking sexy voice. Now I personally think that's a great actor right there.

Harry Potter fans everywhere want him to be nominated for win an Oscar because he deserves it. He truly does. Snape has been and always will be my favorite character. I think the fact that he's not perfect is the main reason everybody loves him so much.

Other honorary mentions :

1) Neville BAMF Longbottom. (If you don't know what's BAMF is just go to urbandictionary.com and search that).

2) Minerva McBadass - well everybody on tumblr is calling her that.

I agree with everyone on the cast - like Daniel Radcliffe is perfect to play Harry, Emma - Hermione, Evanna - Luna etc., but the only one I feel like.. eh, could've been better is Ginny Weasley played by Bonnie Wright. I don't know in the book she was portrayed like very fearless and funny too but in the movie she's very.. dull. And honestly Harry and Ginny in the movie just.. didn't work. It's just weird and compared to Ron and Hermione, everybody really doesn't care about Harry and Ginny.

I totally ship Ron and Hermione but in real life I really like Tom and Emma together! :) Just my two cents.

Okay that's all the next post won't have anything to do with Harry Potter I promise!

Don't people think I'm annoying? Seriously if someone comes up to me and say 'You're annoying', I'd probably be like 'I think so too! High five!'

OMG, you just took the words outta my mouth! I LOVE Alan Rickman! He's the BAMF of Severus Snape EVER! I whimpered a hushed "No~!" when Voldemort made Nagini kill him and I totally cried like a frickin' baby when he died, even though I can hear ppl in front of me n behind snickering and giggling at me. But I don't care! Severus DIED, dammit!!
