Sorry for the lack of updates! Here's a looong one to make up for it :p
(This was supposed to be posted on Tuesday but I was busy so here it is)
"Five minutes left."
Shoot.
"Time's up class, stop writing."
Insert every curse/swear words known to man. And woman. In every language.
To say today's Physics paper was hard would be an understatement.
I came in like 3 minutes late because I had to perform Zohor prayer. And when I looked at the first question, I was totally blur. Blank. I did other questions which LOOKED easy, but of course it wasn't that simple. 45 minutes in, the ideas came to me all at once and then I got confused and then I panicked and then I erased everything I wrote only to rewrite the same thing and then I felt like jumping out of the building but the windows are too high and so I took a deep breath and did the best I could.
I just hope I won't fail. Because then I would have to take it again next semester and I just can't stand it anymore.
But, something interesting happened.
I sat behind in the class and after our lecturer/examiner said time's up and began collecting the paper, I saw in the corner of my eye, this guy sitting beside me, slip a piece of paper inside his pocket.
ZINGGGGGG.
I was like should I or should I not tell the teacher? Then I remember TAYLOR SWIFT'S BEST ADVICE OF ALL TIME, TO SPEAK NOW and so I did. As the teacher approached my table and took my question paper and answer sheet, I said, "Miss, I think I saw a piece of paper inside his pocket."
He looked alarmed. And the teacher asked him to take that paper out and show it to her but he acted innocent. "What no no there's no paper." He patted his pocket to prove so, but didn't put his hand IN the pocket. I even pointed which pocket was it. (He wore this short with pockets at the side, like at the knee area.)
The teacher said she'll be back because she needs to collect other students' paper too (some of them were still writing) and so she walked away. What he did next was unbelievable.
He put his hand in his pocket and crumpled the paper, took it out, gave it to his friend who sat beside him, who happened to sit closest to the back door, and his friend opened the door and threw it out of the class.
In my heart I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?
So I yelled, "MISS HE THREW THE PAPER OUT OF THE CLASS!" She looked at me and then him. That time the class wasn't so quiet but some people did hear me yell. However she didn't come to our place (still needs to collect other student's paper) and that's when he got mad at me.
Him : Okay what's the problem here?
Me : I was just telling the truth!
Him : That paper was nothing!
Me : If it was nothing then you shouldn't be afraid and threw it out!
Our classmates who sat near us just got treated with free drama of the day.
The teacher heard us and said that's enough. She said Physics student have to stay for awhile, but other students can leave.
The class was divided into two, one for students who're sitting for Physics and another for students who're sitting for some Mathematics subject. So I asked my friend who sat for Mathematics to take that crumpled paper outside. He gave it to me and then, The Guy Who Cheats asked for that paper so he can show it to the teacher. I gave it to him. The teacher looked at it for awhile and then said all of us can leave. But he stayed. I left the class and some of our classmates asked what happened.
I told this to my mom(the short version) and she said that paper might not contain what I think it contained. WELL I don't care. I don't want him to get zero or failed Physics, I just did what was supposed to be done. What was right. And if I kept quiet about it, I would feel bad and haunted by it. I should have, what if, what might've happened.
This isn't the first time I caught someone cheating in their exam. The first time was when I was in Form three and it was a girl(!) but I don't feel like writing about that.
Moral of the story here is,
1) Don't cheat. Even if you do, do it right dude! I'd be lying if I said I've never cheated in my exam before. THAT'S BECAUSE everyone else in my class did it too at that time! HAHAHAH. But not by bringing a stupid piece of paper in class but communicating with friends. If it's objective questions, there will be a hand sign for A, B, C and D. And there was one time in Form 5, omg. We passed around this small piece of paper tucked inside a stapler HAHAHAH. But those times we cheated was not during 'serious' exam, but just test or monthly exam like that. (I hope my future employee/anyone from US universities I'll be applying won't read this and deny my application. MUHAHAHA)
2) To my future boyfriend, if you cheat, I WILL find out. LOL WHO AM I KIDDING I AM FOREVER ALONE ~
I hate the feeling of knowing there's SO MUCH MORE to study when the exam is so near.
I hate the feeling of walking into the exam hall.
I hate the feeling of not knowing how to answer a question, and the marks allocated was a lot and I'll lose it.
And then what I hate most is, how my mind keeps going back to the question long after the exam and think is it wrong? What was the correct answer? Did I answer that? OMG THE ANSWER WAS THIS, THE ANSWER WAS THAT! Stupid how can I forgot that.
Okay I try to be all 'It's in the past, you can't change it, move on, what's done is done' but it's difficult knowing what's on the line for me. I know I didn't do bad enough to lose my scholarship, but I'll doubt myself. If doubts were a ghost, it's the haunted one I ever know. Not scary, but haunting.
PSSSHHHH I don't want to think anymore about this. IT'S HOLIDAY. AND IN EXACTLY ONE MONTH FROM TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY. Er yeah not that I look forward to it so much, birthday just meant another cake, another day, another 'I hope my birthday next year rocks and better than this'. I don't think I'll even get a present this year. But I know my parents read this so mama & babah, it's NOKIA X5-01. The one we saw at lowyat. Okay? PLEASE? :)
And oh yeah, just enrolled for my next semester.
Bad news : I have 3 days I have to come to class at 8am, which means I have to leave the house at 6.20am.
Good news : Those 3 days are the only days I'll come to college! I have Wednesdays and Fridays off. WOOT.
But still not sure yet, I might change it on the first week or something.
HAPPY HOLIDAY TO (almost) EVERYONE! To anyone who still have classes, DUDE who goes to class in December!? December = holiday. And my birthday. Heh.
