For me it was ..ohkay. I don't know, I think Eid is overrated. You hear in the songs how Eid is like, the feelings, the atmosphere. It was nothing like that. At least for me it's not. But I'm pretty sure I've expanded my waist line by 5 inches with all the food. And I still get duit raya, which is awesomeee.
So speaking of raya and forgiveness.
There was one person that sent me a very plain text message. It goes like this :
'Selamat hari raya. Have a blast.'
Which is weird, since most people would say 'selamat hari raya'(happy eid) and 'maaf zahir batin'(sorry for everything) together. Even people who did absolutely nothing wrong to me, who have been nothing but nice to me apologized. It's just part of the custom. But he/she did not. And when I ask why no 'maaf zahir batin?' He/she said
'What for? I'm sure you are a good person mar. Occasionally a bitch, so I know you'll forgive and don't easily forget. haha :-P'
And then I was like ;

So not only you did not apologize, but you also call me a bitch. YES I AM A GOOD PERSON SO I SHALL NOW FORGIVE YOU. Not.
Okay fiiine I admit I'm
Why should I forgive someone who does not ask for it? I don't give away free stuff. HAR HAR.
So it's always a good idea to apologize. SAY it and MEAN IT. Eventhough you know that person is a good person and fo sho will forgive you. Because I think we all have hurt someone without us noticing and knowing it.
So to the he/she, duh since it's Eid I'll forgive you. -__- Terpaksa.
And again, I want to say sorry to everyone if I've ever hurt you in anyway :)

Thanks (from front to left) Cedric, Bernice, Sim Cheng, Seul Gi, Rachel, Karis and Lenjin for coming to my 'mini' open house! :)
They're my college friends!
