hope dies last.

my interview went like sh!t. i 'umm,,' 'uhhh' too much. :(

they ask questions that really didn't have any right answer. can't they just ask a 'yes/no' question? sigh.
i know i did quite bad, (dont say 'you must be exaggerating, i'm sure you did well' because seriously, i suck.)
hours after the interview i still feel like a total loser.

but now i'm over it. i'm listening to 'motivation' songs, the one that said 'dont give up' 'never give up on your dreams' , stuff like that. haha. i cannot listen to happy songs right now because it'll make me more depressing(that's why i change the song on my blog ;p)

the thing is, until you're sure your name is not on the shortlisted list, you're sure you didn't get in, there's always hope. you hope and you pray you'll get it eventhough the chances are really slim. that's why 'hope dies last'.
it sucks to hope. haha. because you'll get your hopes up and then watch them crumble to pieces. but we're human, and if we do not hope for anything, it's seriously not normal. from 'world peace' to 'meeting mr. right' or even just 'hope i can eat ice-cream right now', we'll always hope.

so uhm, that's what i'll do now. HOPE, pray really hard i'll be accepted and will be off to usa next year.

----

we didnt just wait for our names to be called during the interview. in the mean time we did all sorts of activity. and they were 4 exchange students , 2 from Belgium and 2 from Germany if i'm not mistaken. 3 guys 1 girl. the guys are kinda cute. haha. and seriously, never underestimate these people! my group's facilitator, martin(i dont think the spelling is right, but it's pronounced like Martin. ;D) he knows we called them 'mat salleh', and petaling street is full of pirated dvds. hahaha. also he said when he first arrived here malaysia is like a big sauna. 'so damn hot'. they've been here for almost a year now, will be back to their countries in about 2 weeks.

----

had a fever the day after the interview. didn't go to school for 2 days. :(
actually my whole family had a fever, except me. i was the only one jumping around the house and singing 'no boundaries' all day long. but that didnt last for long since now my whole family already healed from the fever, now i'm the only having it! ugggh.

oh and one my favourite things to do now is,, open the door and sing. haha. like for example my sister ALWAYS close her bedroom door, then i just open it and sing the chorus of any song. after that, close the door back without saying anything else. haha. so fun.

edit :

goosebumps reading this :

A child's last wish

10-year-old Colby Curtin died of cancer this week, but before she passed away, her final wish was fulfilled. The child had desperately wanted to see the new Pixar movie, "Up." Unfortunately, she was too ill to go to the theater. According to various articles within the Buzz, Pixar was told of Colby's illness. The company sent a representative to deliver a DVD for Colby to watch in her room. Though she could no longer see, her mother narrated the action. Colby died several hours after the movie ended, and searches on "up movie make a wish" and "colby curtin up" both soared.
