:: DAVID ARCHULETA'S SHOWCASE :: part 3: show time!

finally. the third and the last part. also the L O N G E S T part:D (click on the pics for bigger view)

3 p.m. +
erhm. so we were in the amphitheatre.

the stage.

the audience.
the VIP seats are actually just as many as the free seating.

but of course, having VIP tickets, you can come late and still get the best seat. that's why it's still empty. but later, it was just as full.

if it starts at 3 p.m., you know it won't. that's how it works. :D for a while they keep playing a few songs.. like circus - britney, my life would suck without you - kelly clarkson(which quite a lot of people sing along. including me), green light - john legend, if you seek amy - britney, shake it- metro station(lots of people sing along but of course, the part 'shake shake shake shake shake it' ONLY. haha) and after each song, the audience screamed. i was like,huh ? maybe they hope it's a sign the show would start after the song ends, but nope. another song came on. it was kinda frustrating. especially when the same song keeps on playing.


then alicia go and fetch her sister. she must be hella tired coz when we go to the amphitheatre we ran downhill, now she has to go uphill. and it was about 10 minutes journey. so i waited.

her sister didnt have anywhere to sit really. so she had to sit near/on the plant. anything for david, right alvina? xD

lots of girls started screaming over and over again!! we wonder is david here? turns out they were actually screaming because the reporters and photographers were taking their pictures and so they show their excitement la. -.-

we were tired and save our energy to scream for David later. :D

yes i know she's pretty. =]

i was really thirsty and there were people selling can drinks, ice-cream, and even pizza! yup, portable shakeys pizza ? haha. ala you know the one when people slung over their chest and sell whatever things. the pizza costs rm10 and it sold out really fasttttt. the pizza was quite small. alicia was thinking of buying it but the guy who sells it didnt come to our place. then she decided not to buy coz afraid david would come onstage and her mouth would be full, then started tersembur all the pizza in her mouth to scream and cheer for david. xD

i bought 100 plus though. the can. and guess how much it costs? rm1.50? rm2? rm3? NOPE. it was RM 5 for ONE can of 100 PLUS. can you imagine?! i could buy at least 3 of 100 plus at mydin. and no, we were not allowed to bring any food or drinks inside. if we're allowed to do that, of coz la i would've bought it at mydin.. =p but i was thirsty and already took the can in my hand. malu la if i said tak pe la, mahal sgt. -.-"



3.45 p.m. +

the show didn't start yet. then the host(dont know whose voice. not JJ@Ean) said david is on his way. the audience went 'alaaa..' & ' boo..'. he asked ' you're not happy david is on his way??' haha. of course la we're happy but it's already past 3 and we hope david is at least there already. since i sit on the left side of the amphitheatre i can see who was at the backstage. david still haven't arrived. sigh.

then the guy asked us to sing crush. 1, 2, 3! silence. haha. maybe because they didn't play the music so we didnt know where to start. when the song crush came on, then we sing along... half way they turn it off and we still continue to sing. and it was actually awesome!! like everybody was singing along and there were no shrieking and screaming, just voices singing the same song. weirdly enough, i felt like i wanted to cry at that time. xp i seriously dont know why. at that time if only we sing aloooongg...then suddenly david came! but no that didnt happen.

then JJ and Ean came on stage(hitz.fm morning crew). i seriously thought before this, ean is taller than jj! turns out jj is taller than ean. :D ean is kinda cute!

and they started asking us questions to win some merchandise. (i think it's digi's stuff) and the question was so stupid! example:

JJ : aliff is 19 years old and was on one in a million. the question,, how old is he and he was on what competition?

O.O yeah. very mind-boggling.

no use if i raise up my hand coz they won't come to where we sit coz there were too many people. so they chose the people who sits in front. so unfair.

jj asked this girl to come onstage and she's really cute! she was about 5 i think and she knew how to sing crush. yup.

later jj asked the audience who wants to win the merchandise, spell 'david'. we were like, what the heck?! his name was everywhere on that amphitheater so even if you are the stupidest person on earth you'd still know how to spell it.

and ean asked this teenage girl(i think) to sing any david's song. she sang a little too not over you. of course she sang kinda bad, but only for a few seconds coz the audience started singing along! including me. :D it was on the radio the other day. when we finished singing jj said 'aweeesome!!'

then later, we heard DAVID's voice, saying 'hey guys! how are you?' and the crowd went SERIOUSLY wild. even me started screaming. lol. he's hereeee!! but still he doesnt show up yet. they must've recorded it. i look backstage and still no sight of him. sigh.

the opening acts were so lame. first it was some chinese guy. he was on some reality show that apparently nobody knew about. when jj introduced him, the audience was ' huh?', 'what?' . if i were him, i'd be so embarassed. their dance was pretty cool but boringggg.



after that was aliff. he was on one in a million last last year i think. when suki won. omg he was so... annoying. perasan hot. as if all the girls were crazy about him. puh-lease la. when he asked 'are you guys having fun??' everybody said 'nooooooo' . hahah. me and alicia said 'go away la' . xD
we dont want you! we're not here to see youuu!!


then daniel(malaysian idol). he was slightly better. when he sang 'mimpi' lots of people sing along. he was really skinny. when he said 'da....'(pronounced dae) we screamed '..vid!!' david! then he said 'no no, it's daniel here.' haha.




4.15 p.m. +

finally DAVID ARCHULETA came onstage!!!! i screamed sssssoooo loud!! but even if you sit beside me you can't really hear coz E V E R Y B O D Y started screaming and shrieking too! omg he's so cute.........*melts*

first he sang 'a little too not over you'. lots of people sing along... obviously coz the song is really popular. and i actually did record the performance. but it was so embarassing. you can hear my voice singing along!! and it was superbad. haha. because if you were there, you sing along., you can't really hear your voice because everybody was screaming and singing along too. it was when i watch back the video, i can hear my voice. aiyarks. so i've decided i won't upload that. :D you can watch it on youtube if you want.. lots of people already posted the videos.

then he said some things like 'apa khabar malaysia?' and 'it was my first time here' 'so good to be here' and all. he didn't talk much. i think he actually wanted to call out a fan to come onstage and all..but considering the chaos at KLIA and seeing too many people in the audience and someone could get hurt, he didn't. =[



then he sang 'touch my hand' . i didnt really know that song, only listened to it once. so i can't sing along. heh. but if you look at the lyrics, the song is basically about when he performed, he saw this beautiful girl in the audience and tried to reach out to her. so whenever he actually reach out his hand, every girls started screaming and was trying to reach out for his hand too. haha. but of course it was far away. even when he waves(!!), everyone started screaming and shrieking. and everyone(including me)started to perasan he looks at me and sings that song for me.. :D :D :D

i recorded that one too and this time i didn't sing along coz i didnt know the lyrics. haha. so maybe i could upload it but then again, the vid was really blur and you can hear me scream my lungs, kidneys, pancreas, liver, heart out. so no thanks.



after that i think he performed 'dont let go'. again, i didnt know the lyrics. i didnt record at that time. and i didnt scream. i just sit and look at him. trying to take it all in ;)

then he sang the uber-popular song, crush. this time i sing along. you just can't help it, you know?? he is there,right in front of you, singing your favourite song. of course la you wanted to sing along too. same case like a little too not over you, i recorded and heard my voice. -.-"

and then he went away! like only a quick bye and he was gone backstage! i screamed 'NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!' he sang only four songs! come back!!

JJ and Ean came out and asked us to scream as loud as possible to bring David back. and so we screamed la! it was deafening, earth-shattering. haha. and so, our wish came true. he came back on stage and sat to play his piano/keyboard! *melts*

he sang 'a thousand miles' by vanessa carlton. i've watched a video of him playing that song on the piano when he was younger so i knew he's going to sing that.it was awesome!! then he sang the song 'angels'. as if his face is not enough to melt my heart, he played the keyboard soooo beautifully. ;)

and so, the end. he said 'terima kasih' and 'i love you malaysia!' and i screamed back 'i love you david!!!!!!'





it all happened SO FAST :( felt like it was only 5 minutes..

you know, funny how most of his songs, he sings for the fans but the song fits as if the fans are singing to him. here, for example ;

it was the fans who really want to reach out for his hand and touch his hand. xD and 'i'll never see you again' & 'i'll never get the chance again'. sigh. for some people it's true.. will never get the chance to see him again. but NOT me. I WILL find a way, somehow in the future i'll see him again! THAT'S FOR SURE. and this time, i'd meet him in person. not just in the audience of his concert. yeah!! (bersemangat ! ;D)

and obviously song like crush; we're the one having crush on him. i really like the song 'To Be With You' in his album. Kara(the new judge on american idol) wrote that song and did like a small duet in that song. so beautiful. again, we're the one who wants To Be With him. haha.

THE EFFECTS.

:: OBSESSED.
before this i admit i'm not a big fan of David Archuleta, but after going to his concert, of course i'm obsessed with him! right now, i can officially say he beats Twilight on my 'Obsession List'. haha. sorry edward, since you're just a fictional character, i'd prefer david for now. ;D

:: SINGING ALL THE TIME.
i sing his songs all the time. now that i've memorized all of his other songs in the album, i'd sing it. so sometimes my mom would just frown and wonder what the heck got into her daughter. haha.

:: ALARM CLOCK.
my mom asked me to wake my sister up. and it was raining. so i sang the chorus of 'a little too not over you'. really loud. and she still didn't move. =P i gave up. later, i asked her 'mmg x dgr ke anis nyanyi tadi??' and she said 'dengar... alarm clock paling buruk aku pernah dengar.' hahahahahah. xD

:: WAKING UP.
i didn't dream of him. (referring to my last last last post, why can't we choose who gets to be in our dream?!). but i always wake up thinking of him. haih.

like in his song a little too not over you, 'memories supposed to fade'. i dont want it to fade. you know i wrote above how i just sit and look at him? that was when i tried to take 'mental pictures' of him. so i won't forget it. but only a few days passed by and i felt like i'm forgetting it. :( why do i have to be so human? can't i just have that one photo in the back of my mind so i wont ever forget it? =[ of course i took videos and pictures of him, but it's so blurry. and i'm afraid like one day i'd question myself, i did go to that showcase, right?

i know that sounds like crap but we're human after all. we forgot things. that's what we do. so i can just hope i'd meet him one day and this memory of me going to that showcase, i won't ever forget. the happiest moment of your life, how can you forget it? ;)
