i can't stop thinking about DAVID ARCHULETA!! gahhh i still can't believe i went to his showcase at sunway lagoon amphitheatre on 11 APRIL 2009, Saturday. it was... mind-blowing!! i felt like i wanted to cry. ok i'll tell you the whole story.

on hitz.fm website, there's an online contest, i remember on the website written 'The last chance to win the tickets!' so i clicked. you have to answer five questions, and complete a slogan. the five questions were so easy, the answers are on wikipedia. the tough part is to complete the slogan. omg i hate contests involving slogan. i've never entered any contest involving slogan because i dont know what to write! so i just wrote something so bullsh!t that i'm sure i wont win.

i dont really think about it. i know i'd never win it. seriously, i've never won ANYTHING if it's open nationwide. i mean, there are millions of people entered the contest. you can actually submit as many entries as you want, so imagine just how many entries they received. i dont even get my hopes up. but then, i thought , AH-HA! i have a good idea. but it's late at night and i can't online because my mom didn't allow me. shit, the contest ends on 10 April at 4.30 pm!
10 APRIL 2009
1 pm : came back from school, immediately switched on the pc and go to hitz.fm website.the contest ends at 4.30pm, this is my last chance since i'll be at tuition at that time. i submitted another 2 entries.
2.15 - 7 : went to tuition. again, i didnt think much about the contest.
7.15 : arrived home, watching tv. the phone rang. our maid picks up. she handed it to me. here's how the conversation goes.
me: hello?
some guy : hello, is this anis filza?
me: yeah it's me.
some guy : hi i'm calling from hitz.fm . have u entered any of our contest recently?
me: yeah the sms thing, the online one...
hitz: for the david archuleta contest right?
me: (omg is it what i think it is?!) uh-huh..
hitz: you won the online contest.
me: *screams so loud. the loudest ever in my life*
me: sorry!!
hitz: it's ok. you have to collect your ticket tomorrow.
me: *more screaming* how many tickets do i won? (kinda stupid question)
hitz: two.
me: where's the concert actually? (i dont even know where it is!)
hitz: sunway lagoon amphitheatre. you have to collect your ticket near the entrance, in the elephant walk. do you know where it is?
me: uh no, but i think my dad knows it. mom! i won the david archuleta tickets!!
mom(to me) : entah2 gotcha call tak?
me: this is not a gotcha call right??
hitz: no no it's not.so near the entrace you'll meet the hitz.fm cruiser --
me: wait wait. i have to jot this down.
++ i ran into my room and get the paper, pencil++
me: hello?
hitz: you'll meet the hitz.fm cruiser near the entrace, then you said you're the online winner, and you have to show your IC. you have to collect your tickets before 2 because the showcase starts at 3.

me: ok. thank you so much!!
hitz: you're welcome. may i know what's your name again?
me: anis filza.(didnt he already know? whatever. dont really care)
hitz:how do spell that?
me: A-N-I-S ,space . . . .
(he asked my name and my IC number)
hitz: ok thank you. have a good day. bye.
lebih kurang la. actually i think i apologized two or three times for screaming so loud and the guy keeps saying it's ok. maybe he gets it all the time when he calls the winner. :D oh if u didn't know, 'gotcha' is where JJ and Ean prank call people. luckily it's not a gotcha call, because if it is, i'll kill whoever told them to gotcha me. it's too cruel to do that! xp
and then for the next few hours, i keep on jumping and screaming. i have to take a pillow, cover my face and scream so it's not that loud.
my dad said maybe they just picked randomly. but i'm sure it's not!
first because if it's based on luck, i would never ever ever ever ever everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr win! i've entered lots of lucky draw but i never win. like if i submitted 1000 entries, then someone submits only 1 entry. that's all. the chances are that one person is going to win! seriously. and also, i submitted only 3 entries, the probability that i would win is almost none. so i'm sure it's because of my creative slogan that i won!!
i chose alicia to go with me because she's been talking about wanting to go and how her heart pains. haha. but i dont think she'd choose me if she won the tickets. >.<
me:hello, is this alicia?
alicia : yeah.
me: it's anis. alicia, your dream is about to come true!
alicia : what what what??
me: i won...
alica: what?
me: guess!
alicia: you won the ticket??
me: yeah!!
alicia: oh my god can u bring me along??
me: that's why i'm calling you!!
alicia: *screams*
and then we made an arrangement to go there. my parents can't send me so she has to ask her father to drive us there. at first it's 1pm, then 12pm. i prefer if we go there earlier.. so at last her father can send us at 10am. perfect!
i dont know what to wear! it's so last minute and no time to shop for new clothes. it's my first time going to a concert(it's a showcase, but concert sounds more gempak. xD). i dont really know what to expect. so i chose to wear black jeans with white and green striped shirt. and my sneakers.
that night, i slept at 1 am and woke up at 6 am.
