in fact, this post is about my birthday! finally, yesterday we celebrated my birthday. so here's some pics!

THE CAKE & THE WRITING
so it is a SECRET RECIPE cake.

and no, i didn't buy a secret recipe cake every year for my birthday. anyway it's a strawberry chocolate cake. oh what's with the writing on the cake? haha.

i know my name is not anis cullen [as much as i want it to be.haha jk] i asked my mum hesitantly can i write 'anis cullen?' i thought my mom would say no. but she said 'boleh'. i was really excited! i looked at the guy who works there,who will write it on the cake. you know, just to see his reaction. aper mende lak 'cullen' nirh? but his expression gave nothing away. zero weirdness. i wonder had he actually write the name cullen on a cake before? hrm.

they gave one big candle, and 6 little candles. but i figured 7 candles would be too crowded.

i don't like cheese AT ALL. so bought chocolate cake instead. add strawberry layers and we have a winner. i never eat@buy this cake before but i'm glad i did. it's THE BEST. try it and you'll know what i mean.

sidenotes:
- as you can see the part ANIS CULLEN still there. that part is strictly restricted. for me. haha.
- we celebrated my birthday right after we came back from jalan2. that's why i'm still wearing tudung. in case you still hadn't notice, malaysia is a really hot country.

so that's pretty much it. actually i was planning to have a little party, invite my friends and all. but i'm NOT a great host, it'll be awkward. no thanks, i'll pass. i admit i'm pretty jealous when i read SWEET 16 by Kate Brian. the main character, Teagen, had a fantastic, grand-tastic, fabulous-tastic sweet 16. she invited almost everyone in her school. it's THE event of the year.

but then, what's the point celebrating your birthday with strangers?

i wish i could write how fabulous i celebrated my birthday. but , sadly nope. didn't even buy a cake. main reason coz my dad is not in town so got to wait till this sunday to celebrate together. sigh.

so who's the first to wish me happy birthday?? me of course.hahah. at 12.a.m i said to myself, " happy birthday anis! be happy and keep smiling =) from someone who loves you so much!!"

ok everyone talks to themselves at some point. i'm not the weirdo here. =]

hrm,other than that...today nothing happened. well some things happened but not so important to jot down here. i'm trying to finish breaking dawn today. got less than 100 pages to go till midnight. after that i'm free to surf the web bout twilight without feeling wanted to commit suicide if i read any spoilers bout the book.
hahah i'm exaggerating.

not that many person remember my birthday though. but it's ok.i honestly didn't take it to the heart.or kidney. or lungs. =p

i'm not mad at [whoever's name here] for not wishing me happy birthday. probably because i didn't wish anyone's birthday that much.. so it's fair if someone forgot my birthday. so that's why i'm numb.

SOOOOO erm,, i'm still 15 today. hahah. technically i am 5842 days old. wow. 5842 days living on this earth ? sounds like a long time.... well of course the first thousand days of my life i can't remember. =D

why can't we remember our life when we're 1 or 2,3 years old? i can only listen to my mom and my dad's story..saying i'm really naughty and all. and of course from the pictures. i'm bald when i was a baby!

me and alin went to berjaya times square to meet our SMTTJ friends. ayu and anish. OMG i miss them SO MUCH.

we watched TWILIGHT. which means i've watched TWILIGHT twice. hey, i read the book twice, so i HAVE TO watch twilight twice right? haha. no larh,we juz dont have anything to do and they haven't watch that movie yet,so why not?

i felt extremely lucky these past few days.. i've been blessed. no, i didn't win any lucky draw@lottery. instead, i've been blessed with my parents' love and understanding. (so corny.haha)

it all starts when . . .



ok let's just get to the part when i'm already obsessed with twilight. =D

the day i bought the first book, TWILIGHT. Using my own money.

the book consists of 464 pages, and i finished it within 5 days. (i'm busy at that time,if not,i would've finish it in 2@3 days) i just can't put it down! it was really2 good.

i want to buy the second book, NEW MOON so bad. but i got to wait until 29 / 11 / 08 because then my mom would get special discount on books.
are u kidding?? i got to wait about a month?? oh the agony. there's nothing else to do but wait. and wait. and wait. ! in the meantime, 'to cure the pain' , i re-read twilight. so i've read twilight. TWICE.

then,i discovered there's a TWILIGHT SAGA BOX SET on sale at amazon . com. i persuaded my father to buy it for me. my dad asked me to wait till my mom get the discount and buy it here in msia.

i searched for the box set everywhere. since it's still new, and quite expensive, it's not on sale here in KL. i was disappointed. no box set, only the one individual books.

the day i watched twilight. which makes me beyond eager to get the second, third and forth book.

the day finally arrived. i woke up with a smile on my face. suddenly the world seems like a better place. [lol]
we went to THE CURVE. even from the distance, i could see the one shop that caught my attention : BORDERS.

i know the twilight books won't be hard to find. sure enough, the books are just at the right corner,near the entrance. i grabbed NEW MOON , ECLIPSE , BREAKING DAWN without hesitating. without even looking at the price. i can't see anyone else there. i'm blinded by the only thing that i want at the moment :

only the hardcover version is available. which means the price is higher than the usual paperback. i don't care. my mom said NO. buy the paperback. it's cheaper. WHAT? i've waited about a month,and now you said no? i wanted to cry. my dad came to the rescue. he said there's also MPH here,why not check out there? maybe the paperbacks are available there. so we went.

MPH is smaller than BORDERS. Great, i said mockingly. if the gigantic BORDERS didn't sell it, why would this small MPH sell it? but i search for it anyway. . . and i found something beyond my expectations.

No it's not the paperbacks.
NO it's not some cute guys or celebrity.
NO i didn't catch my boyfriend cheating behind my back or something like that. [lol]

It's the box set.

I almost screamed. I can't believe it. It's HERE. in front of my eyes.it's calling my name. 'take me home! take me home now!'

my dad knows how much i want the box set. my mom kinda disagreed at first, but my persuasion works. my dad asked the cashier if there's one more box set. she said no, they only 'bring in' one only since it's quite expensive. oh the price is RM 319.90. all four books are in hardcover.

and so, 291108 is officially the best day of my life. at that time i don't care if my boyfriend break up with me(not that i have one),i don't care if someone ate my chocolate cake, i don't care if someone cuts my Q at mcd,.. i was on TOP OF THE WORLD.

and now it sits on my shelf. i'm pretty paranoid, i dont even let anyone touch it like it's really fragile. haha.

my advice, no need to show off your gf/bf. just say you're taken@in a relationship or something like that. no need to trouble yourself putting up your gf/bf's pictures and all, then tear it down once the relationship is over.

you'll have to 'clean up the mess', which is unnecessary if you don't make the mess at the first place.

speaking(or typing ?) of one tree hill, i M I S S E D the first episode of oth season 5!!! omg what a bummer.i didn't know it already aired on 8tv ! it airs on last tuesday. last weekend i went to cherating, balik on monday..so didnt know the next day oth is on tv ! O.O

I'M SO NOT GOING TO MISS IT AGAIN ! oh sorry my love! i promise i won't leave you again! =]

they're all grown up in season 5! they're no longer in high school..but in THE REAL WORLD. one tree hill is the awesomest. they deal with real issues and not to mention, really,really beautiful,meaningful quotes. even the bad guy is saying the good quotes! man the writer must be really good. one of my favourite(really, i LOVE ALL the opening and ending quotes,mostly said by lucas(chad michael murray)
